Package bees are a fun way to get started in beekeeping and watch your colony grow from the ground up. They're also a great way to replace winter losses.

Important Pickup Information — Please Read Before Ordering

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY at Charlie Bee Company. We do not ship bees.

Package bees are live animals and must be picked up promptly when they arrive. Unlike nucs, packages cannot be held at the shop for extended periods.

We expect packages to arrive sometime in April 2027, with the exact date to be determined. We will notify all package buyers of the scheduled pickup date by March 2027, as soon as we have confirmation.

Please be prepared to arrange pickup on the designated arrival date.

By ordering, you agree to make arrangements to pick up your bees when they arrive.

Package Bee Warranty

Package bees are sold without a warranty. We cannot guarantee that your colony will accept the queen, establish successfully, or survive after installation.

We'll show you how to install your package and answer your questions so you can get your bees off to a good start.
