Charlie Bee Company: Season 2 on PBS
Charlie Bee Company Season 2 is here—eight new hour-long episodes of real-world bee rescues, big-hearted humor, and practical pollinator know-how on public television nationwide. Presented by Austin PBS, KLRU-TV and produced by Iniosante Inc, the series follows Texas beekeeper Charlie Agar into walls, barns, and treetops for heart-pounding removals that turn chaos into conservation. Viewers also travel from Texas to California’s almond bloom—the largest pollination event in the U.S.—and up to Massachusetts for cold-climate beekeeping, getting a front-row seat to the smoke, the heat, and the electric hum of a thousand wings.
This season lands amid a national pollinator crisis, with record hive losses driven by virus-laden varroa mites. The stakes are real, and the mission is simple: keep people safe, rescue the bees, and leave every place better than we found it. Watch the Season 2 trailer below, stream all episodes on the PBS App (premiered September 1, 2025), and check your local PBS listings for airdates.
